  • This website is specifically dedicated to promoting Certified Farmers' Markets. Each member farmers' market is provided with a listing which can act as a web-presence if your market does not have one.
  • National press coverage, resource and communication service with direct referral to Certified members for items of regional interest.
  • A central information service provided free to consumers.

 

    Standards
  • Ongoing monitoring and development of the Certification scheme that sets the standard for Farmers' Markets and promotes those markets that fit the recommended criteria. (link)
  • The provision of a single source for guidance on Environmental Health and Trading Standards issues through the development of a ‘Home Authority'.
  • A voice for lobbying on issues such as recognition for the contribution that farmers' markets make to local food, meat legislation and alcohol licensing.
  • A growing support network for advice on market management issues.
  • A centre for complaints about questionable farmers’ markets.
