There are over 500 Farmers' Markets around the country. Please use the map or list below to select your location and find Farmers' Markets near you!
A farmers' market is a market in which farmers, growers or producers from a defined local area are present in person to sell their own produce, direct to the public. All products sold should have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder.
FARMA, the National Farmers' Retail & Markets Association independently assesses and certifies farmers' markets round the country to make sure they're the 'real deal' so you can be confident you are buying the freshest, most local produce possible, supporting your local community and economy, and helping the environment by reducing food-miles. Look out for the certification logo below!
On this website we only list farmers' markets that are members of our cooperative, which means the markets listed on the next few pages are just what they say on the tin: the real deal. Not all members have achieved certified status yet, but those currently without the symbol are obligated to work to reach the Certified standard. Look out for our Certification logo, above! This symbol means the market has passed inspection and represents true farmers' market values. |
