Interested in promoting the best of British produce and helping farming’s oldest charity at the same time?  Then read on.

RABites is a web-based recipe page that starts in September, devised by the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, the national charity that gives out over £3 million a year to struggling farmers. 

Each month a different region will be in the spotlight to celebrate the quality and diversity of seasonal local produce. Visitors to the site will be set a challenge to produce a dish using featured ingredients. The recipes can be well-known favourites, long forgotten local specialities, or a new slant on a traditional theme. Ultimately, the recipes will be published in a book to raise funds for the charity.
